The Cassero, unique in Tuscany, is an impressive fortification in the shape of a pentagon, inserted into a rectangle with fortified square towers at the four corners, which takes up the anthropomorphic shape theorized by Francesco di Giorgio Martini for the "ideal city". The Municipality of Poggibonsi makes it available for civil ceremonies, banquets, and wedding receptions.

From the main door you enter a long entrance corridor and the weapons room, from which you arrive in a large area open to the sky, the Piazza d'Armi. The unique nature of the setting, together with the availability of ample space (about 12 hectares), will let you organize a unique wedding with maximum freedom to customize the event: from the choice of the most atmospheric and romantic spot for the ceremony and the ideal places for aperitifs, cocktails, a banquet, and nighttime parties, even including the possibility of organizing a real wedding concert!
